The Exorcists chapter have a secret – in order to truly grapple with Chaos they invite daemons to possess them, before driving them out and using the resulting increased resilience to their advantage. When such a banishment fails, you get the Broken Ones: living prisons for the terrors expelled from their brethren. When one of these tormented souls is freed, Daggan Zaidu and his elite Hexbreakers must hunt them down before the Imperium at large learns of their unorthodox methods – but the relationship between hunter and prey is set to complicate matters.
